When we age, our skin begins to lose elasticity, with wrinkles, lines, and sagging appearing. Microneedling is a safe, nonsurgical method for correcting these issues. The other terms for Microneedling are Percutaneous Collagen Induction (PIC) or Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT).
General Information
At Belfoire wellness Center, we offer traditional microneedling with the SkinPen, and RF microneedling with Morpheus 8. Microneedling helps you to achieve tighter, brighter, and smoother skin. Both of these treatments have proven to be quite effective, but we depening on your needs, one or the other may be more or less effective for you. That’s why we work with you help you choose the one right for you.

Micro needling is an innovative aesthetic procedure, that effectively addresses acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, and helps improve your skin.
We use medical grade, hand held devices to perform microneedling procedures for our patients.
The treatment helps to generate new collagen and skin tissue for a smoother, firmer, and more toned appearance. We primarliy use microneedling on the face and it may be used to treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores.
Clinical studies have shown that microneedling transforms the skin’s appearance by improving its texture, tone and volume. It is minimally-invasive and a safe and effective way to erase signs of aging.
What to expect after microneedling:
Microneedling isn’t invasive like plastic surgery, so the recovery time is minimal. Most people require very little downtime, if any at all.
You may notice skin irritation and redness within the first few days following the procedure. This is a natural response to the small “injuries” made by the needles in your skin.
Your skin will also be more sensitive to the sun, so sunscreen is a must.
After microneedling, your skin works fairly quickly to rejuvenate new tissue. In theory, you should see results within a couple of weeks.
To maintain the results of your treatment, you’ll need multiple sessions and perhaps other complementing treatments.
